One Day Yoga & Hike Retreat - Secret Spot near Kandersteg

Join me for a gentle hike and yoga retreat in Switzerland. We will practice yoga and meditation in the middle of the Swiss mountains, in a beautiful valley near Kandersteg. During this one-day Mountain Therapy retreat, I will guide you through a magical place where a turquoise river meanders and waterfalls tumble down from rocky peaks.

Yoga: All levels welcome.
Hiking level: 12km / -400m / 2-3hours.
Price: 145 CHF

Difficulty level of the walk: 12km / -400m / 2-3hours.

Yoga level: All levels welcome. There will be options for beginners and advanced participants.

Meeting point: 9:40 am at Kandersteg station.

  • By train: 1h10 from Bern, 2h10 from Zürich, 2h30 from Lausanne.

  • Option to meet in the train beforehand with the group.

End of the tour: Around 17:00 in Kandersteg.

Price: 145 CHF, including the cost of the alpine taxi to get to the beginning of the hike (not covered by the Swiss GA travelcard).

Included: guided hike, yoga, meditation.

Not included: Picnic, beverages, insurance, the price of the train ticket for the trip to Kandersteg, station and for the return.

FAQs: 

  • The yoga session will be conducted in English, with assistance available in German and French if needed. Of course, everyone is welcome to speak their native language during the walk.

  • Sun and wind protection, hiking shoes, clothes that are comfortable and weather adapted, a rain or goretex jacket (can be used against the wind). It can be cooler in the mountains.

  • Picnic and snacks, sun protection, your yoga mat (make sure you can attach your yoga mat to your backpack), and sufficient water for the day. You can refill either from the river if you have a filtering bottle or from the restaurants at the beginning and end of the hike.

  • The program of the day might be submitted to changes due to the weather. In case of very slight rain prediction during a small part of the day, we will go and take our rain jackets. And the program will be adapted.  

    In case of dangerous stormy weather or heavy rain, the event will be canceled, and you will be able to join another event or to get fully reimbursed.

  • You must be physically and mentally capable of staying focused for an entire day to complete:

    • Hiking: 12km / -400m / 2-3hours / T2

      T2 level = Continuous established footpath. Exposed areas made more secure. Partially steep terrain. Risk of falling not ruled out. Trail is not paved. Surefootedness. Proper hiking boots are recommended.

    • Yoga: 60-75 minutes

    • Meditation: 30 minutes

    If you are pregnant, have an injury, are afraid of heights (e.g., vertigo), or are unsure whether your physical level is sufficient to keep up with the other participants, please contact Nastassja before booking the tour.
